With over 40 years of in-house legal experience up through the ranks and at the highest levels of insurers, reinsurers and brokers, he brings that perspective along with that of an underwriter to arbitrator and umpire appointments of both p/c and life/health/annuity disputes with policyholders or reinsurers.

Expert Witness

 

Being a hands-on lawyer, executive and student of insurance policies, reinsurance contracts and producer agreements along with having significant insider knowledge of re/insurer operations and motivations, allows me to understand and explain re/insurance principles and custom and practices to fact-finders.

Interim Lawyering

 

Having acted as a hands-on counselor to all levels of executives and boards of directors and as a manager of international legal department staffs of over 40 professionals, I have filled several interim General Counsel or senior lawyer positions at re/insurers during leaves or during the acquisition of permanent legal staff. Immersion into the situation, making quick assessments and acting upon them allows the company to continue its business and build its future talent with care and time.
